I had purchased the ADAPTIL Travel spray in anticipation that my young dog may need it on our three day car trip, moving from MN to FL. She is not a huge fan of the car and her anxiety kicks....fidgeting, yawning excessively and sometimes drooling. Turns out, she got used to the car pretty quickly and I didn't think I was going to need to use the spray. By day three, my senior dog had enough of car rides and strange places and she would just start shaking. ADAPTIL to the rescue. A few sprays on her collar and on her blanket, and after a brief pit stop, we were able to get her relaxed enough to stop shaking. I still keep it on hand for thunderstorms, hurricanes, 4th of July, etc. Oddly, the things that never used to bother my older dog, started to become an issue around age 12. This has been a great help for her.
