HOW TO HELP YOUR PUPPY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT?

1

Help reduce puppy crying and whining at night with ADAPTIL Junior

  • Clinically proven to help reduce night time crying1
  • Improvements can be seen within the first week
  • Continued use for at least one month after adoption is recommended
2

Create the perfect “puppy bedroom”

  • Choose a warm and comfortable sleeping space for your puppy with a bed or a blanket
  • Place in their bed something that smells of you like an old t-shirt
3

Prepare for bedtime

  • Dinner 3 hours before bedtime
  • Active play and walks 2 hours before bedtime
  • Then gradually begin to calm your puppy down
4

What NOT to do

  • If your puppy cries, wait to see if they settle instead of petting them. Otherwise your puppy could learn the wrong lesson that crying will get them cuddles.
  • Don't take your puppy into your bedroom, otherwise they will ask for it again.
  • Never use your puppy’s bed as a punishment, this could create stress at bedtime.

Why do puppies cry at night?

Sometimes, your puppy would prefer to play, or is simply not sleepy, and certainly doesn’t want to be alone. This day and night routine is also new to them. And last but not least, they misses their mother and siblings a great deal, and have not settled in your home yet.

Imagine how this transition can be overwhelming for your fluffy ball. But no matter what, you need to teach your puppy to sleep through the night, and to be very consistent in this training.

ADAPTIL Junior releases “comforting messages” like the ones sent by the mother dog to naturally calm and reassure her new puppies.

ADAPTIL Junior is clinically proven to help reduce the number of nights with crying or whining.1 It will comfort your puppy at night and help your puppy learn faster to sleep through the night.
